A short update on my dad:
(kind of dry so bare with me)
On Friday August 21, 2009 my dad had grabbed at his feeding tube and it cause it to move into his large intestines. They put a new one in to only find out that it was clogged. To make a long story short, they have removed the feeding tube from the nose and he likes it much better. Sometime next week my mom and I are planning on doing a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tube which goes through the abdominal wall. This will be a better way of feeding him since he is stubborn and wants to pull out tubes.
Just talked with the nurse this evening and my dad has a 101.3 degree fever. They can't seem to break it But he is resting comfortably and fighting to get healthy again.
My dad is still producing blood clots in his legs and right arm. Our prayer at this point is that he will stop making new clots. The doctors have done everything at this point to prevent any clots that could travel to his lungs. We pray every day that this will get better and not worse.
My mom and I will be looking into a Major Neuro Rehab for him this coming week. Say a prayer that we can find him a facility that will be the right fit for him and that they will give him the best possible care.
Here are some pictures from Thursday to Saturday. Please don't be alarmed by how he looks. It's just his fever telling us that he doesn't feel very well.
I will post more before the day is over.

I loved every moment that God gave me with you. I loved combing your hair, brushing your teeth, hugging you, smiling with you, talking to you. Every moment I cherish that I got to have with you over those three weeks. I wish I could have them back. I miss your fine hair, your soft skin, your smile, your laugh, everything about you, I miss.
