Today is one of the most painful days of my life. I wish I was writing all of you to tell you about how well my dad was doing or how he smiled for me. Instead I am writing to tell you that on Tuesday August 25th, 2009 at approximately 6:20pm, my dad past away. He was surrounded by family and friends that loved him dearly. He took his last breath peacefully with Joanne (his wife) by his side. He was an extraordinary man, a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Facebook Post: October 23, 2009

Lots of thoughts of you today. It snowed over the past few days and now today it is sunny out. I can picture you sitting out on the back deck watching the Squirrels and the trees losing their beautiful leaves. You were always so into nature. This time of the year you loved so much. As the season changed you were always there to witness it. I am reminded of you by just that. In two days it will be two months since you went to heaven but it feels like eternity. I feel like a season in my life is changing and I don't mean the weather. I miss you so much and think of you every day.
I love you daddy!
