I took my kids swimming today and sat back and observed all the children with their parents. It reminded me so much of my dad taking me swimming as a kid. He would jump in and swim for hours with me. (even when he didn't want to) Throwing me up in the air and playing Marco Polo with me. As I have grown up, I now do those things with my kids. Oh boy, did it bring back lots of memories for me today.
My husband Tim went out to the hospital this morning and witnessed for the first time, my dad combing his hair. Take a look at the video.
Tim also took some great pictures of my dad doing his physical therapy. Take a look at what he has been up to.
Some time last week I began to have Faith. Faith to me is just this: Faith is to hope for things which are not seen, but which are true, and must be centered in Jesus Christ in order to produce salvation. To have faith is to have confidence in something or someone. The Lord has revealed himself and his perfect character, possessing in their fullness all the attributes of love, knowledge, justice, mercy, unchangeableness, power, and every other needful thing, so as to enable the mind of man to place confidence in him without reservation. Faith is kindled by hearing the testimony of those who have faith. Miracles do not produce faith but strong faith is developed by obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ; in other words, faith comes by righteousness, although miracles often confirm one’s faith.
