My dad started off his morning eating pancakes for breakfast and enjoying a vanilla milk shake to drink. What a change from four days ago while he sat on life support fighting to keep all the devils away. Today, as I look at him I think what a miracle that has taken place. Tonight was so exciting for me. He had a 10 minute conversation with me. My favorite thing that we talked about was, I told him that whatever happens, that I would always take care of him. His response was "I appreciate that!" He also said "I love you!" And he melted my heart. As I tucked him in for the night, I just sat back and gazed at him. Remembering how important he is and always will be for me.

I can't wait until tomorrow morning when I visit him and see what he has in store for us tomorrow. He is a fighter and is so strong. I believe with my whole heart for a full recovery!
