~Pictures of today's trip to the ICU~
When I walked into my dad's room this afternoon, I noticed that the doctors had placed a nasogastric tube through his nose. I remember seeing it when he was first in ICU but as he got better and was able to eat, the doctors took it out. Today they decided that it was best for my dad to be receiving nutrition while they figure out what is going on with his lungs. They believe that if my dad were to eat regular food through his mouth, that some of the food could enter into his lungs and cause pneumonia. I began to cry as I looked at him and thought why the hell this had to happen to him. As you can see in the pictures below, he isn't very responsive and cannot communicate to us. My poor dad lays in a hospital bed, tubes in him and helpless. I can't imagine what he is going through but my heart just aches for him every time I see him. My prayer is that each and every day he will heal and get better. I miss him, his laughter, sense of humor and well, just my dad.

Getting some more zzzzzzzzzzz's.
