On Friday August 28, 2009 at 1pm family and friends celebrated my dad's life with my mom and me. At the end of a beautiful service, we wrote on white balloons, messages to my dad and sent them up to heaven. Take a look at the beautiful pictures of this experience.

This afternoon, Zack and I attended my Uncle's "celebration of life" service in Denver, Co. He was the best story teller and the nickname king, I will miss him. Families may not get to see each other often and may live hundreds of miles apart but there is a bond that holds us close.

I'm so glad we had a chance to meet Bruce and I will always remember his laugh and how he cracked up the waiter whenever we were at dinner. Jenny- I have no idea what to say that will make you feel better- probably because I know that there really isn't anything that will make it alright. I just want you to know that I am praying for you and Aunt Joann and I hope that you will all find peace- just like I know Uncle Bruce has. I know that Lexi and Asher will have memories of him that will last forever ( they are the same age Mark and I were when my grandpa died and I remeber a lot).
