Today is one of the most painful days of my life. I wish I was writing all of you to tell you about how well my dad was doing or how he smiled for me. Instead I am writing to tell you that on Tuesday August 25th, 2009 at approximately 6:20pm, my dad past away. He was surrounded by family and friends that loved him dearly. He took his last breath peacefully with Joanne (his wife) by his side. He was an extraordinary man, a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Dad,

Today you would have turned 61. It’s a very sad day to
know that you aren't here to celebrate your Birthday. It's weird how I am grieving for your loss and then today comes and I think back to how I would be celebrating your special day with you. I
am forever grateful that Tim and I threw you a huge 60th Birthday
par...ty. You had such a wonderful weekend and then came the big surprise. Although you may not be here, I will still
celebrate in my heart your Birthday. I miss you so much and can’t stop thinking of you. You were such a great father, a loving
husband, a fun and caring Pops, funny, charismatic, and honest. There are so many things I see in myself that remind me of you. I really wish you were here today for me to tell you Happy 61st Birthday!
